Step up your inspiration with the Radlett - A project. Custom-designed by our Smet UK team, this staircase comprises glass balustrading and Starphire glass panels with porcelain tiles that fit the hallway pretty well. It has to be said that the French Oak had to be stained very dark to create an Ebony-like finish.

We were contacted by the architect Andrew Neil Associates to put a price on this staircase. After we agreed upon working together, we worked very close with him and the builder, Fairoak construction, to accomplish the finish the client was after within the budget and specification. We also made sure to include a continuous handrail that held an LED light, a specific wish from our client. A real challenge so it seemed, as a powersource needed to be added every 5 meters.
