family enterprise small enough to care, large enough to cope with all your
bespoke needs.
We aim to provide the highest possible
quality and breadth of choice, because staircases create the tone of your
whole home.

Each of our staircases is designed to your
exact requirements. The process involves defining your needs, taking
exact laser measurements of your stairwell, producing scale drawings for
your approval and then constructing the staircase in the Belgium workshop,
within a frame equal to your own hallway. It is then disassembled
into large sections, shipped in a dedicated truck to your premises and
reassembled by trained technicians. This means there is a minimum of
inconvenience to you.
The quality is the same as the finest
furniture. Installation is to an exact date, provided we have 12
weeks from receipt of your signed order and deposit. Terms are 30%
of the contract price on order, 60% when the staircase is finished in the
workshop and 10% on hand over.
At SMET UK Ltd every project is a
